Promoted feature: Interactive Gaming Group launches new game streaming hub WinParty
IGG reveals its brand new product from its proprietary interactive platform – building upon the company’s intent to bring great streaming entertainment to people around the world
WinParty is Interactive Gaming Group’s (IGG) new innovative gamification and streaming hub that aggregates streamers and content creators from different services and rewards viewers for their watching time. The ecosystem is controlled by a virtual currency, rewarded to users that are watching a streamer of their choice. The currency can later on be spent in the store section where users can win prizes ranging from free spins to a multitude of gift cards.
IGG’s head of product Rosario Basilotta, who previously held creative roles at video game development giant King, and was behind product development of Rovio’s Angry Birds game, had this to say about the new launch: “Development of WinParty started in early 2020. We wanted to bring to market a new, engaging product, connecting streamers, viewers and brands. Live streaming is changing the way people connect online and WinParty brings the streaming experience to the next level. WinParty is the one place to go for watching your favourite live streamers and to connect with them in a more engaging and gratifying way.”
IGG’s head of business development Carl William Christiansson added: “For every 20 seconds our users spend watching streams they are rewarded with virtual coins they can use for opening a chest and winning a prize. The data we are collecting from our users is proving they love WinParty, and the level of engagement and session time is higher than any other new streaming platform. Streamers, content creators and brands all over the world are showing interest in WinParty and the number of new members is growing day by day. They are attracted by our model and the additional ways we offer them to interact with their audience and monetise it.”
WinParty bridges the gap
The new platform functions as a bridge between operators, providers and users. With the virtual currency, viewers are incentivised to watch and play, to try out a newly released game, or to open a chest that is branded by an operator which could include free spins on their casino, just to name a few of the functionalities.
Over the past three years, IGG has launched some of the most popular streaming igaming channels on Twitch. The company is currently collaborating with over 1,000 creators, hundreds of gaming and non-gaming brands in over 30 markets. The launch of its proprietary platform comes on the back of strong growth experienced over the past year.
IGG aims to give access to all upcoming creators to better monetise their talent by connecting them with viewers and brands through its interactive platform.
“Livestreaming is still in its infancy and we are working hard at Interactive Gaming Group on new features to improve and grow WinParty, and to introduce fresh products into the market as we ‘inspire the world to play’,” said Basilotta.
