Bally Bet operator recruits former RSI social responsibility lead Tammi Barlow to newly created role

Bally’s has confirmed the twin appointment of Don Westcott as SVP, global chief compliance officer, and Tammi Barlow as its inaugural VP of global responsibility and social impact.
A veteran of the compliance sector with more than 25 years’ experience, Westcott most recently served as global head of compliance for international payment provider Nuvei.
Prior to that, he served in VP and director-level roles with Fortune 500 companies Fiserv and First Data but started his career in the casino industry with stints at Caesars, Osage Casino, and the Isle of Capri Casinos.
Prior to joining Bally’s, Barlow led the development and execution of Rush Street Interactive’s (RSI) corporate social responsibility strategy, including the continued implementation of RSI’s responsible gaming initiatives.
As part of her role, she worked to promote the expansion of RSI’s diversity, equity, and inclusion program, its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, and developing the strategy to create the operator’s first community engagement and employee volunteering program.
Barlow previously held the position of co-chairwoman of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for Global Gaming Women and remains a committee member.
She is chairwoman of the Responsible Gaming Committee for the National Council on Problem Gambling and also serves as a board member for the Massachusetts Council on Gaming and Health, and a committee member of African Americans in Gaming.
In the newly created role, Barlow will operate out of Bally’s Corporation headquarters in Providence, Rhode Island, Westcott’s operational base has not been confirmed by the firm.
In a statement on the appointments, Bally’s executive VP and chief legal officer Kim M. Barker lauded Bally’s newest executive-level additions.
“On behalf of the entire leadership team, I am pleased to welcome Don and Tammi to Bally’s.
“Their deep expertise enables Bally’s to continue our progress toward building industry-leading compliance, responsible gaming, and social impact functions as the company continues to grow and expand,” she added.
