Zitro Digital recruits ex-Red Rake Gaming CCO to oversee operations
Industry veteran Jose Javier Marti onboarded as chief operating officer for supplier’s digital arm

Spanish igaming supplier Zitro has appointed former Red Rake Gaming exec Jose Javier Marti as chief operating officer (COO) of its online division.
Marti joins the Catalonia-based firm from Pragmatic Play where he served as a country director from April 2021 until January 2022.
He previously had a spell as Red Rake Gaming chief commercial officer from September 2018 until November 2019, and has also worked for NetEnt and Hacksaw Gaming in a variety of roles.
Speaking on his arrival, Marti said: “I am tremendously proud to join Zitro’s digital team and look forward to contributing my part to the full and effective implementation of Zitro’s land-based game distribution through digital channels.”
Founded originally as a land-based supplier, Zitro made the transition into igaming and is now a supplier of slots and video bingo content to a range of operators including Codere and several other Latam-facing firms.
Earlier this month Zitro had its content portfolio approved by the Loteria de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (LOBTA) to allow the supplier to bring its games to the market.
Touching on the approval, Zitro regional director to Latam Alejandra Burato said: “It is an exceptional achievement to see Zitro Digital grow steadily and open the way to new online casino markets not only in Argentina but in all continents.
“Having our games approved by LOBTA is one more step towards the expansion of Zitro Digital with the operators of the city, and we are sure that many other games will follow, which have made Zitro a leading provider worldwide over the years,” he added.
