WynnBET teams up with Ben Affleck in new TV ad campaign
Batman actor fronts star-studded NFL short as operator pledges to spend $100m on marketing to take market share

WynnBET has unveiled a new sports betting marketing campaign directed by and starring Hollywood A-Lister Ben Affleck.
The short, which was written and produced by ad agency Laundry Service, pits Affleck alongside WynnBET brand ambassador Shaquille O’Neal and emerging Netflix star Melvin Gregg as the trio chat with patrons at the firm’s flagship Wynn Las Vegas casino property.
Guadalupe Rodríguez, the mother of Jennifer Lopez, also makes a cameo appearance in the advert.
The campaign was created for TV and includes an extended cut version in excess of two minutes, with elements to be integrated across the WynnBET app and social media platforms.
WynnBET has confirmed that Affleck will remain as a strategic consultant to the firm.
Wynn Interactive CEO Craig Billings highlighted the campaign’s omni-channel potential by linking the WynnBET mobile app with the firm’s land-based casino experience.
“Every detail of this shoot was carefully considered and Ben did a great job hand-picking the cast and crew as well as developing the characters to capture the fun involved with winning together,” Billings explained.
“We’re excited to show everyone what WynnBET has to offer,” he added.
Elsewhere, the NFL has confirmed WynnBET as one of four new sports betting partners to add to its three existing contracts with DraftKings, FanDuel and Caesars.
WynnBET will spend up to $100m on marketing during the forthcoming NFL season as a way of making ground up on its more established rivals, according to Bloomberg.
The funds will be spent on a mix of TV advertising, sponsorships and customer acquisition activities.
