WynnBET gearing up for Louisiana launch with pre-registration
Pelican State bettors can sign up and deposit in advance of WynnBET app debut

WynnBET is formally gearing up for the launch of its mobile sports betting app in Louisiana, with the online operator announcing that customers in the Pelican State can begin taking advantage of a pre-registration offer.
As part of the pre-registration period, bettors who sign up and deposit with WynnBET will be eligible for a ‘Bet $10, Win $250’ offer once the WynnBET app goes live.
The promotion will allow users to receive $250 in free bets regardless of the outcome of their initial $10 bet. WynnBET’s license is currently pending approval.
“WynnBET’s launch in Louisiana is just the beginning of an exciting few months for our company as we significantly increase our footprint during the first quarter of 2022,” said Wynn Interactive president Ian Williams.
According to the most recent update from the Louisiana Gaming Control Board, the goal is to get mobile sports betting up and running by the Super Bowl, which is slated for February 13.
When that happens, Louisiana will become the eighth state in which WynnBET is operational, with additional launches imminent.
“Pending regulatory approval, we will also soon be launching our online sportsbook in New York and Iowa, expanding the number of states players can enjoy our platform from seven to 10,” said Williams.
“We look forward to welcoming new customers from across the country to WynnBET in the coming weeks.”
WynnBET figures to have a leg up in the initial push for market share in Louisiana, as it will lean heavily on brand ambassador and LSU legend Shaquille O’Neal to spearhead its acquisition efforts.
It’s been an eventful past few months for Wynn Interactive – the operator of WynnBET – which scrapped a SPAC merger in November and announced it was shifting to a lower-spend marketing strategy, all amid the pending exit of Wynn Resorts CEO Matt Maddox at the end of January.
It was then recently reported that Wynn Resorts is looking to sell Wynn Interactive at an asking price of $500m following talks of a potential $3bn valuation in 2021.
