WynnBET expands US footprint to West Virginia
Online operator gains market access to Mountain State through Delaware North partnership

WynnBET has gained market access to West Virginia through a partnership with Delaware North, an entertainment and hospitality company that owns and operates two casinos in the state.
The deal will allow WynnBET to roll out its mobile sportsbook for users in West Virginia. The Mountain State is also one of six US states that allows online casino.
WynnBET’s mobile sportsbook app is currently available in seven states – Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Tennessee, and Virginia – and the online operator has varying degrees of market access in 11 others.
Delaware North owns two retail properties in West Virginia – Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack in Wheeling and Mardi Gras Casino & Resort in Nitro, near Charleston.
Both casinos operate retail sportsbooks, while Delaware North runs its own website and mobile sports betting app, Betly. WynnBET will be joining an online landscape that also includes the likes of FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM.
When factoring in ongoing negotiations, WynnBET’s goal is to have access to 77% of the US adult population, spanning half the states.
WynnBET has accordingly placed a significant emphasis on brand and marketing, notably joining forces with Shaquille O’Neal and Ben Affleck for an advertising campaign. It also counts Chad Ochocinco, Tim Howard, and Nick Mangold among its brand ambassadors.
