Wynn partners with Sci Games for online gaming products
Las Vegas-headquartered giant to launch digital betting and gaming products, starting in New Jersey

Wynn Resorts has partnered with Scientific Games to launch online gaming and sports betting products across the US, starting in New Jersey.
The agreement includes a sports betting and egaming system, a managed sports trading service and Scientific Games’ content aggregation system.
Wynn said it will initially launch in New Jersey, although it did not specify a timeline or licensing partner.
The firm previously made plans to launch in New Jersey in 2014, but withdrew its license application in 2015 without explanation.
The new agreement follows on from a 2018 Wynn partnership with Betbull, a Europe-based digital sports betting operator which boasts a social/gamified betting product.
Eilers & Krejcik anlyst Chris Grove said noted: “Wynn continues to tack toward online gambling in the post-Steve Wynn era.
“Amid the ongoing controversy stemming from Steve Wynn’s departure, is unlikely to become a meaningful lobbying force in most emerging state online gambling markets.”
Grove added: “Meanwhile SciGames gets a new partner in a hotly-contested New Jersey online sports betting market that has so far been dominated by rival suppliers like Kambi and SBTech.
SciGames already powers the Caesars sportsbook in NJ with its OpenBet platform.
SciGames’ share price climbed 8% following the announcement yesterday.
