Winner appoints former Superbet head as chief marketing officer
Vlastimir Vukadinović moves over to Romanian operator after more than five years with Superbet in a series of roles
Former Superbet head Vlastimir Vukadinović has been named as chief marketing officer (CMO) of Romanian sports betting brand, Winner.
Vukadinović moves from fellow Romanian operator Superbet, where he held multiple roles following his arrival in January 2019.
Joining as head of online marketing, he spent a year in the role leading all online marketing activities for the Superbet brand before transitioning to head of marketing.
In August 2020 he was promoted to global marketing director tasked with helping to lead marketing operations across Romania and Poland.
A final promotion in November 2021 to marketing director followed, a position Vukadinović held for just under three years before departing in May this year.
Before joining Superbet, he worked for Betano as its Romanian country manager from May 2016 to December 2018, managing and coordinating the operator’s marketing and advertising activities.
Vukadinović first started in the igaming industry in April 2009, working for Mozzart Bet as its marketing manager for seven years.
He moves to the operator ahead of evoke taking a 51% majority share in the business for €10m (£8.5m).
Evoke, the parent company of 888 and William Hill, holds an option to take full ownership of Winner’s parent company, New Gambling Solutions, three years after the deal closes.
Following the purchase of Winner, evoke CEO Per Widerström labelled Romania an “exciting growth market” and that the deal will “cement a leading position for evoke”.
Announcing his move on LinkedIn, Vukadinović wrote: “After more than five-and-a-half years on team Superbet and after taking a well-deserved and too long summer break, it’s time for a new adventure: Winner and evoke.
“To all my ex-colleagues: it has been a great journey and I’m super proud of everything accomplished together. It’s been a great chapter, filled with some amazing experiences, surrounded by good people and many inspiring partners.
“Dragoș Buriu and Nicklas Zajdel , I’m very excited and thankful for the opportunity.”
