William Hill’s omni-channel director to depart
EGR understands Itai Hadas will leave the operator this Spring as Hills moves omni business into core product offering

William Hill’s omni-channel director Itai Hadas is to leave the London-listed operator this Spring following the company’s decision to move its omni division into its core business operations, EGR can reveal.
Hadas joined William Hill in April 2017 and has since led the UK bookmaker’s omni-channel strategy, including the launch of its PLUS product which lets customers remotely track and cash out their in-shop bets.
Ulrik Bengtsson, chief digital officer at William Hill, said: “Itai joined us last year to lead our omni-channel strategy and ensure a seamless customer journey between our two channels with significant progress made both in the number of PLUS customers and Online linked or reactivated accounts.
“We are now in a position to move omni into our core business operations.”
Hadas added: “Working for such a strong brand under strong leadership and with strong colleagues was definitely a peak in my career, it was enjoyable and I am looking forward to my next challenge”.
Prior to joining William Hill nearly two years ago, Hadas had worked in a number of leadership roles at companies including Playtech, Ladbrokes and Partygaming.
His departure comes after EGR revealed last year that William Hill had made dozens of staff in its digital team at risk of redundancy as part of a group consultation that will see more than 100 roles in London, Leeds and Gibraltar put under review.
