William Hill US appoints former Yahoo Sports VP as president of digital
Kenneth Fuchs brought in as Hills aims to be US sports betting market leader

William Hill US has appointed Kenneth Fuchs as its new president of digital as the company aims to “build on the momentum” it has built in the US market in recent months.
Fuchs was most recently CEO of STATS, a sports data company which provided content and analytics for clients including Google, Apple, Amazon and his new employer William Hill.
Prior to this, he was vice-president of Yahoo’s sports, finance and entertainment divisions, overseeing day-to-day operations and strategy for each vertical.
During his time at the helm of Yahoo Sports, Fuchs oversaw the development of its daily fantasy sports (DFS) business.
Speaking about the appointment, Hills CEO Phillip Bowcock said there was still a “huge amount to play for” as the company aims to be the market leader in the US and that Fuchs’ experience will “be a great asset” as the company builds on the momentum generated in the US in recent months.
William Hill US currently operates 108 sportsbooks in Nevada and has extended its operations to New Jersey, Mississippi, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island following the repeal of PASPA in May.
Joe Asher, CEO of William Hill US, expressed his excitement at Fuchs appointment, highlighting his “proven record at leading technology/media companies and a strong digital background that will allow us to continue to innovate and enhance our digital offerings as additional states legalise sports betting.”
Speaking about his new role, Fuchs said Hills had made “fantastic progress” since the legalisation of sports betting.
He added: “I look forward to working with the team in our pursuit of market leadership and delivering great digital and mobile experiences for our customers and partners.”
