William Hill secures office for new tech and marketing hub
Operator to move into new location on London’s Tottenham Court Road over the next six months following closure of Tel Aviv and Shoreditch offices

William Hill has secured a 30,000 sq ft office on London’s Tottenham Court Road to serve as the operator’s new technology and online marketing hub.
The firm is moving into the Avenue building, located on the corner of Bedford Avenue and Tottenham Court Road, which was completed in March and currently houses travel comparison site Skyscanner on the top three storeys.
The bookmaker’s new London hub was first revealed by EGR Intel last month following a decision to close its Tel Aviv and Shoreditch offices and merge the functions into a single location.
A William Hill spokesman said: “The Avenue is an exceptional building in an area with strong and growing appeal, and we look forward to moving the relevant online marketing and technology teams to the new London hub.”
The building will be let by London-based real-estate developer Exemplar and property investment company AshbyCapital, with Hills expected to move into the office over the next six months.
Peter Ferrari, chief executive of AshbyCapital, added: “The appeal of The Avenue is clear: located just 100 metres from the new Crossrail entrance, occupiers of the building are set to benefit not only from the additional transport connections offered by Crossrail, but also the significant wider regeneration including the £40m West End Project which is currently underway.
“This includes the creation of a new car-free boulevard down Tottenham Court Road, wider footpaths, a new pocket park directly outside The Avenue, and a major new park immediately behind Tottenham Court Road at Alfred Place.
“We’re pleased that William Hill is the latest business to recognise the attractions of this location and the high-quality building that we’ve created here with our partners at Exemplar.”
William Hill is due to release its 2017 half year results tomorrow.
