W88 puts pen to paper on front-of-shirt sponsorship with Fulham
Newly promoted side inks “record sponsorship” deal with Asia-facing operator despite looming ban

W88 has signed a front-of-shirt sponsorship and main team partnership deal with Premier League side Fulham FC for the 2022-23 season.
The newly promoted side has confirmed that the agreement between themselves and the Asia-facing operator has attracted a “record sponsorship” fee.
The brand’s logo will feature on the front of both the men’s and women’s home and away shirts and replaces blockchain telecommunications network World Mobile.
The multi-faceted deal will also see W88 feature across in-stadium branding at Craven Cottage and Fulham’s digital platforms, as well as bespoke digital and social content.
Hilly Ehrlich, W88 business development manager, said: “We are looking forward to engaging with [Fulham’s] passionate global fanbase during the season ahead and delivering innovative content with the club.”
Fulham FC sales director Jon Don-Carolis praised the financial benefit of the deal.
He said: “We’re pleased to welcome W88 on board as main team partner this season in a record sponsorship for the club.
“The deal provides significant revenue to assist with our commercial objectives, enabling us to compete in a challenging and exciting Premier League campaign.”
Fulham FC become W88’s fourth Premier League front-of-shirt sponsor having also adorned the kits of Wolverhampton Wanderers (2018-19), Aston Villa (2019-20) and Crystal Palace (2020-21 and 2021-22).
Earlier in the summer, Everton announced a record sponsorship with Stake.com. Both deals come as reports of a potential ban on front-of-shirt sponsorships for gambling firms in the Premier League continue.
