
Vivo Gaming launches new Uruguayan live studio
Supplier looks to Latam for latest project as 80-strong team set up shop in Montevideo


Vivo Gaming has unveiled a new live casino studio in the Uruguayan capital of Montevideo.
The new 541 sq m space is located in a free trade office complex known as Zonamerica on the outskirts of the city.
The production area at the studio accounts for 282 sq m, with 82 sq m reserved for training, support and technology.
The remaining 178 sq m will be made up of kitchens, dressing rooms, storage and office space.
The studio will house 80 members of staff led by studio manager Andres Gómez on a day-to-day basis, with Vivo Gaming COO Ivan Livov given oversight of total operations.
Of these 80 employees, 60 will be live dealers supported by seven pitbosses, a general supervisor and trainers.
There will be six hair and makeup staff as well as individuals working across HR, remote support, legal and finance.
EGR understands Vivo Gaming chose Uruguay as its latest hub due the to economic and political stability in the South American nation.
Vivo Gaming noted strong banking stability with a steady US exchange rate as key reasons for choosing Uruguay.
Speaking to EGR, Livov said: “Our Uruguay studio is the most technologically advanced we have at the moment and one that we hope will become the referent of Vivo studios.
“We plan to host all the live casino games that Vivo offers as well as increase on the number of tables.
“The studio is located in a strategic zone with all the necessary space to expand. We have strategic business partners that allow us to complete complex setups and the use of the latest trends in live dealer offering,” he added.
