Trustly appoints industry veteran as new technology operations VP
Former GVC and The Stars Group manager Martin Stidelius joins payments specialist at Swedish headquarters
Trustly has appointed Martin Stidelius as the payments specialist’s new VP of technology operations.
Stidelius joins Trustly from Scientific Games Digital, where he has served as director of technology operations since January 2018.
Stidelius boasts an impressive track record in the online gaming industry, having held management roles at GVC, The Stars Group (then Amaya) and NYX Gaming Group.

He will be based at Trustly’s headquarters in Stockholm and will report directly to group CTO Per Lejontand.
Stidelius will be responsible for managing Trustly’s infrastructure and technical operations teams, as well as taking charge of the expansion and modernisation of security operations.
Speaking to EGR Technology, Lejontand praised Stidelius’ previous experience in the industry and noted he would assume a pivotal role within the group.
He said: “I’m very glad to have Martin on board. His background in the gaming sector, deep technical knowledge and experience in demanding environments are all skills that will be valuable as we continue to build an enterprise infrastructure and operations team.”
