Tipico to launch online sportsbook in Colorado
German giant secures 10-year agreement with Century Casinos to go live in the Centennial State

Tipico is set to launch its new US-facing online sportsbook in Colorado after securing a partnership with Century Casinos.
The German operator has sealed a decade-long deal with the Colorado Springs-based casino group and, following the completion of the required applications and due processes, will launch an internet and mobile sportsbook under the Tipico brand in the state.
Under the conditions of the agreement, Tipico will pay Century Casinos a one-time market access fee, as well as a minimum annual revenue guarantee and a percentage share of net gaming revenue.
Colorado marks the second state that Tipico will launch in as part of its US expansion, after securing an agreement with Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City to gain access to the New Jersey market.
Adrian Vella, Tipico US business MD, said: “Tipico is thrilled to partner with Century Casinos, a highly respected name in North American casino entertainment, to bring our fully mobile sports betting experience to Colorado and introduce sports fans throughout the state to our brand and proprietary technology.”
Erwin Haitzmann and Peter Hoetzinger, Century Casinos co-CEOS, added: “We are very excited to be partnering with Tipico and we look forward to a long and prosperous relationship.
“The Colorado Division of Gaming has done an excellent job launching sports betting and we believe Colorado will be an ideal market for Tipico as they continue their expansion and growth in the US,” they concluded.
The partnership with Tipico represents Century Casinos’ third online sports betting partnership after securing deals with Circa Sports and bet365 in the past.
