Tipico expands sportsbook into Colorado
Malta-headquartered operator receives regulatory approval to expand into second US state following New Jersey

Tipico has been given the green light by the Colorado Division of Gaming to launch mobile sports betting operations in the Centennial State.
The launch is the Germany-centric operator’s second US sportsbook after its US debut market of New Jersey, where the firm has been live since December 2020.
The Tipico mobile app is now available to Coloradans on Android and iOS.
Tipico has partnered with Century Casinos in Colorado, with the firm providing support to Tipico in its Internet Sports Betting License application.
Tipico’s proprietary sportsbook uses a single login interface rather than state-specific versions of its sportsbook, with bettors able to access a secure, virtual ‘wallet’ feature that is accessible across states.
To celebrate its second state launch Tipico will be offering a variety of attractive sign-up promotions and cash offers for Colorado consumers.
Tipico US CEO Adrian Vella hailed the Colorado launch as an “exciting moment” for the firm as it looks to break the dominance of its US native counterparts.
“Captivating users and elevating their betting experience is at the core of Tipico’s development and growth plan, and we’re proud of the capabilities that our app and our proprietary technology stack offers,” Vella added.
Tipico joins fellow European operators Betsson Group, Betfred, and Carousel Group as well as US-based operators BetMGM, DraftKings, and FanDuel, which all have existing sportsbooks in the state.
