Greentube to expand in Belgium with Betway partnership
Greentube has launched in Belgium through long-term partner and operator Betway.
The move will see the online casino’s portfolio available via betway.be and adds to Betway’s gaming content in the market.
Jordan Wall, sales and key account manager at Greentube, said: “We are delighted to deliver popular digital takes on all-time classic slots to more players in Belgium through our valued partner Betway. We believe that the market will respond favourably to the selection of entertainment that we are providing, further enhancing our presence in this key regulated market.”

Regulated states Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Michigan will be the new home of the slots provider through the operator, with new titles released every month.

Playbook Engineering appoints new commercial director
Playbook Engineering has hired Luke Cousins as its commercial director.
Cousins has 14 years’ experience in the igaming industry having worked for businesses including Unikrn, as head of B2B prior to its sale to Entain, and Pentasia, as VP of business development in North America.
Speaking at IGB Live, Cousins said: “What drew me to Playbook was the strength of the platform. Speaking with affiliates and operators on the platform already, they confirmed that it is very strong in terms of customer experience, retention rates and KPIs. The platform supports multiple UK GC-licenced [Gaming Commission] operators, which gives us the ability to look at emerging and existing regulated markets, so as commercial director it provides a lot of opportunities to look at different ways into those markets.
“I am excited about the regulations currently happening and the opportunities these provide in new markets, whether that be developing markets such as Africa or Latam where there is mass market potential, but also looking at maturing regulated markets such as in the US or Ontario, which can be difficult markets to penetrate but ultimately very valuable.
“Playbook has proven that it has quality technology, along with the people we have in place, so we will be well positioned to take advantage in those markets,” he added.
Betsafe spins into Spain through Pragmatic Play and Betsson Group partnership
Pragmatic Play has agreed a deal with Betsson Group to launch its Spanish-language roulette through its brand Betsafe.
With Betsafe expanding across Latin America, already having titles in the market is believed to be helpful due to Pragmatic Play’s recognition in the region and follows on from the deal earlier this year where the supplier provided live casino branding to Betsson Group’s Swedish operator Jalla Casino.
Irina Cornides, COO at Pragmatic Play, said: “A customised brand experience paired with a localised language for roulette is a powerful combination, and we are thrilled to be adding value to Betsson Group’s Betsafe brand and its Spanish-speaking players.
“Pragmatic Play has gone from strength to strength in Latin America and we are excited to be bringing our bespoke branded roulette with Betsafe as it expands into the region, giving even more players access to immersive live casino experiences that power up new possibilities of play.”
Andrea Rossi, commercial director of Southern Europe and Latam at Betsson Group, added: “Pragmatic Play’s live casino customisable branding has already proven a hit across our operator estate, and we are delighted to bring it to our Betsafe customers.
“We’re confident our players will enjoy the immersive Roulette experience and look forward to working closely together for the foreseeable future.”
STS announces AI-powered suggestion function
STS has launched a personalised event function for players powered by AI.
The new ‘For You’ section will see AI analyse players’ behaviour, preferences and previous choices before recommending events that will be of interest on the sports bookmaker’s app.
STS CTO, Wojciech Sznapka, said: “Our proprietary model analyses betting patterns and player preferences. On this basis, it proposes events that are most likely to interest and inspire our customers. Owing to the vast amounts of information collected in our data store, STS’s AI models are performing very well, bringing greater value for users.
“AI solutions are widely implemented in product and service recommendation systems. We are convinced that this will have a positive impact on the impressions and UX of our players, clearly improving their already high satisfaction with the STS website.”
