GiG announces two new deals with Betsson and Betzone
Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has confirmed it will power Betsson’s Peruvian brand, Inkabet, as the operator prepares for launch later this month.
GiG already boasts a strong relationship with Betsson as the latest agreement sees Inkabet migrate onto the supplier’s technology platform and bolster an alliance that already covers eight markets across Europe and Latam.
James Coxon, GiG COO, explained: “This partnership marks another milestone in our journey together with Betsson, spanning across multiple regulated markets. At GiG, we pride ourselves on fostering successful long-term partnerships, and Betsson’s trust in our capabilities is a testament to that.
“With our extensive experience in Latin America and our cutting-edge technology, we’re confident that on GiG’s technology, Inkabet will drive exponential growth in Peru’s burgeoning igaming market.”
Elsewhere, GiG has expanded its presence in the UK after announcing an agreement that will see the brand supply its technology to the Betzone brand and its igaming platform CoreX.
Plenty of emphasis has been placed on responsible gambling (RG) within the deal and Betzone is expected to benefit from GiG’s compliance innovation.

Delasport bolsters Nordic presence
Delasport has joined forces with Danish operator Casino999.dk as the bookmaker looks to expand into the sports betting vertical.
The supplier’s plug and play sportsbook iframe will be added to Casino999.dk’s website imminently, as it looks to provide a sports betting experience unlike any other seen in Denmark to date, while Delasport takes another step in the right direction when it comes to establishing itself as a key supplier in the Nordic region.
“The Nordics are very important for us and we’re happy to be making another step in the region with a partner like Casino999.dk”, Delasport’s vice-president of business development, Rosaire Galea Cavallaro, remarked. “This is a great demonstration of how casino operators can benefit from adding a sportsbook – something we’ve been raising awareness of for the past several months.”
Sherene Ameen, regulatory compliance officer at Casino999.dk, added: “Entering the sports market is a key decision we’ve made as we believe our players deserve to have their favourite types of betting in one place. The ease this integration happens with is making us happy to be partnering with a proven global supplier like Delasport.”
BeBettor partners with EveryMatrix
Data analytics firm beBettor has confirmed its partnership with EveryMatrix as it looks to offer its UK operator partners frictionless financial vulnerability checks.
Ahead of new Gambling Commission regulation being implemented at the end of August, beBettor checks, which will be integrated across multiple EveryMatrix platform products, will look to identify examples of financial vulnerability, such as history of unpaid debts or previously issued bankruptcy orders.
Jake Cachia, head of compliance at EveryMatrix, said: “As a business, we pride ourselves in delivering the best service to our operator partners. This will provide our customers with additional robust responsible gambling controls while meeting new UK requirements without any friction, so we’re delighted to be working together with beBettor.”

Gentoo Media renews bet365 deal for sixth year in a row
Gentoo Media has confirmed it has extended its partnership with bet365 for another year in a deal that will see the operator use Gentoo’s automated compliance and protection tool, GiGComply, for the sixth consecutive year.
Through the deal, bet365 will benefit from ensuring all marketing efforts adhere to regulatory demands.
Rasmus Bank Nielsen, head of GiG Comply, talked up the renewal: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with bet365,” he said. “This extension demonstrates the effectiveness of GiG Comply as a compliance and brand protection tool, once and again used by one of the largest and most respected operators in the industry. We look forward to continuously supporting bet365 in maintaining their high standard of regulatory compliance.”

Already Media opens new Warsaw headquarters
Already Media has confirmed its new Warsaw-based HQ has opened and will host more than 20 members of the affiliate’s 250-strong global team.
The bulk of those 20 members will be made up of C-suite positions including CEO, COO, CLO, CFO, as well as senior SEO department heads.

BetBlocker recognised for outstanding contribution to gambling-related harm prevention
BetBlocker has picked up the prestigious Jim Wuelfing Annual Award for Prevention at this year’s National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) Awards earlier this month.
The accolade honours companies that have advocated for the inclusion of prevention strategies in the space of problem gambling services, as well as developed effective prevention programmes.
Founder of the charity Duncan Garvie reflected on the win and said: “Recognition of BetBlocker’s work within the problem gambling space by the NCPG, one of the most influential voices within the sector, is among the highest possible accolades our organisation could receive.
“I speak for the entire BetBlocker team when I say how deeply honoured we are to receive this award.”

Pro League Network teams up with Birches Health on RG initiative
Pro League Network (PLN) has announced its partnership withBirches Health, a pioneering behavioural health provider that looks to ensure as many people as possible have access to responsible gambling tools.
Working alongside each other, the two will ensure all wagers placed on PLN sports are carried out in a healthy, responsible way through both the production and promotion of support resources.

SOFTSWISS celebrates 15 years
Wednesday 21 July 2024 marked 15 years since SOFTSWISS launched and, to mark the occasion, the supplier highlighted some of its greatest moments in that decade-and-a-half of operations.
These include introducing crypto in gambling, building a comprehensive product ecosystem, recently seeing its game aggregator surpassing the 23,500-game mark from more than 270 providers as well as always looking to promote social responsibility.
