Greentube acquires 40% stake in Flamingocatz
Greentube has acquired a 40% stake in startup studio Flamingocatz as it gears up for its North American expansion.
The pair are already working on a number of titles which are set to be introduced in 2023, initially in North America.
The joint venture follows on from Greentube’s acquisition of US development studio Present Creative earlier this year.
Michael Bauer, CFO and CGO at Greentube, said: “We remain committed to growing our presence in North America and through this joint venture with Flamingocatz, we will further strengthen our capabilities, working with a talented and very experienced team who sit on a lot of local knowledge.”
Job Spiero, co-founder at Flamingocatz, added: ” We are very excited to work on this new studio together with Greentube and we could not have hoped for a better partner to go into the Americas.”
Pariplay takes AGS content live in Alberta
Pariplay has taken American Gaming Systems (AGS) content live in Alberta via online operator PlayAlberta.com.
Under the remit of the deal, AGS will become Pariplay Fusion’s first studio partner to go live in the province with titles such as Tiger Lord and Golden Wins.
Adrian Bailey, Pariplay’s managing director, said of the deal: “AGS has developed a deserved reputation for creating highly entertaining slots that capture the attention of players both in land-based and digital gaming environments.”
Stuart Carr, AGS Interactive SVP, added: “With its strong focus on growth across North America, we are honoured to take a historic step into Alberta as the first Fusion studio partner to go live in the province.”
Checkd Group partners with Xtremepush
Checkd Group has signed up with acquisition and retention platform Xtremepush to bolster its player interaction capabilities
Xtremepush’s platform will allow Checkd Group to analyse and target its users and provide data-driven messages to drive engagement.
The partnership will be rolled out across Checkd Group’s Betting Hub app and websites including FlashPicks in the US and Footy Accumulators in the UK.
Alex Beecham, Checkd Group MD, commented: “We are always looking for new ways to engage with our dedicated player base on all brands and the advanced capabilities of Xtremepush will significantly improve our ability to deliver personalised and relevant content.”
Yggdrasil grows German presence with Jokerstar
Yggdrasil has partnered with German operator Jokerstar to expand its presence in the market.
Yggdrasil’s slots will be made available to Jokerstar’s customers, including games from its YG Masters program.
Andrew Pegler, chief commercial operations officer at Yggdrasil, said: “We are thrilled to partner up with such a strong brand in Germany, offering our popular content to even more local players.
“Jokerstar has been a leading entertainment company for years in the retail sector in the country and we are excited to contribute to their online expansion,” he added.
Wazdan dives into Czech Republic
Wazdan has bolstered its global footprint after going live in the Czech Republic.
The move marks the seventh market entry by the supplier in 2022 following Bulgaria, Ontario, Michigan, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands.
Andrzej Hyla, Wazdan chief commercial officer, said: “Entering regulated markets is of vital importance to our continued growth, and the Czech Republic is an exciting jurisdiction in the middle of Europe.
“We have enjoyed a number of market entries this year, all around the globe, which proves the reach of our comprehensive product portfolio,” he added.
SIS adds South African horseracing to portfolio
SIS has partnered with South African horseracing rights holder 4Racing to bring action from across the nation to UK and Ireland customers.
The deal will begin on 1 January and will see SIS partners gain access to streaming from tracks all across South Africa
