GR8 Tech hires former VaiDeBob MD
GR8 Tech has appointed Thomas Carvalhes as a senior business development manager as it looks to expand in Latam.
Carvalhes has more than 10 years’ experience in the region and recently left operator VaiDeBob after joining as managing director in 2022.
Yevhen Krazhan, GR8 Tech head of global sales, said: “Thomas will lead GR8 Tech’s expansion into Latam, an incredibly interesting region for us considering its explosive growth, bolstered by strong mobile internet usage that feeds a high demand for streaming and esports along with traditional sports.”

Sky Bet launches free-to-play weekly football game
Sky Bet has launched a new weekly football game with Incentive Games in the shape of Match 5.
The premise of the game is players visit the app every day to collect Premier League teams. If those teams win at the weekend the player gets up to £20 in free bets – 50p for two winning teams and £20 for all five.

White Hat Studios partners with BetRivers in Delaware
White Hat Studios has entered the US market of Delaware following a partnership with Rush Street Interactive’s BetRivers brand.
The supplier’s portfolio will be made available to BetRivers’ players and marks the sixth igaming state entry for the studio.

Booming Games gains Canadian licence
The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario has granted Booming Games a B2B licence.
The firm can now supply its content to licensed operators in the province.
Frederik Niehusen, Booming Games CCO, said: “We are thrilled to have obtained a full Ontario B2B gaming licence, allowing us to expand in the fast-growing Canadian market.
“Ontario is the next milestone of our strategy to expand in regulated markets after successfully entering Spain, Colombia, the Netherlands and Denmark in 2023.”
Continent 8 goes live in Vermont
Continent 8 Technologies has launched its cybersecurity solutions in the US state of Vermont after the online sports betting market went live in January.
The firm will provide security for sportsbooks including Draftkings, FanDuel and Fanatics as the supplier continues to expands in North America.

Gaming Corps to supply Casino Barcelona’s online arm with content
Gaming Corps has agreed a deal with Casino Barcelona to provide the operator’s online arm with a host of games.
The supplier’s crash, table, mine and slot games will be available on CasinoBarcelone.es.
