The Unit opens new Moldova headquarters
Digital sportsbook and casino supplier heads to “state-of-the-art” premises in Eastern Europe to aid growth

The Unit has opened a new 180 sq ft office in Chișinău, the capital city of Moldova.
The new engineering hub will house over 30 staff and look to further improve the supplier’s development work on products such as its digital sportsbook and casino.
The firm, which also boasts offices in Ireland and Ukraine, said the Moldovan office will look to tap into the country’s local talent on the “state-of-the-art” premises.
Paddy Casey, The Unit co-founder, said an office in Chișinău was “logical” and the next step in the company’s evolution.
He added that Moldova’s tech talent was a key reason behind expanding the office.
Casey said: “This strategic move aligns with our vision to tap into the rich pool of tech talent in Moldova, fostering innovation and expanding our capabilities in the betting and casino software development industry.
“We’re thrilled to plant another progressive flag in the sand for The Unit – and Chișinău was a logical choice as we expand our footprint. It’s a perfect match: a fantastic team in an environment that’s ideal for The Unit’s growth and trademark creativity.
“We view our new European office as another step in the evolution of our lofty ambitions within the industry to be the best and to work with the best.
“Moldova is an area of growing appeal, with a capital that boasts a strong trading tradition and a rich environment for young tech talent, which is already complementing our industry-leading experience,” he added.
