The Stars Group recruits Anomaly as PokerStars ad agency
London-based agency Anomaly “blew the doors off their creative pitch”, according to Stars CMO Christopher Coyne

The Stars Group (TSG) has appointed creative firm Anomaly as its new ad agency in the US and for its flagship PokerStars brand globally.
According to Campaign Live, Anomaly beat Droga5 London and McCann London to win the business, with TSG opting to move away from its previous approach of working with a number of agencies.
Anomaly’s remit in the US will span across different TSG sports, poker and casino brands and they will soon get to work on the partnership between PokerStars and renowned MMA organisation, UFC.

Campaigns will primarily be produced from Anomaly’s London and New York offices, but the team will also call on resources from seven locations worldwide within the Anomaly portfolio.
TSG CMO Christopher Coyne said: “Anomaly blew the doors off with their creative pitch. This is the beginning of something brand new for our brands and we can’t wait to show off the results.”
Anomaly London CEO Camilla Harrisson added: “The progressive vision of The Stars Group demands the full breadth of the Anomaly offering. They are the perfect partner at the perfect time.”
The Stars Group netted an official gaming partnership with the NBA in December 2018.
