Tabcorp to lead cross-continental horseracing content partnership
Strategic alliance will see Australian operator partner with ARC, RMG and 1/ST Content to distribute racing content across multiple international markets

Arena Racing Company (ARC), Racecourse Media Group (RMG, Tabcorp and 1/ST CONTENT have joined together form a horseracing content partnership.
The agreement will see all companies create a dedicated network of rights holders that will collaborate to broadcast content across various international markets.
The content will include 24/7 racing video, data and wagering solutions for operators under one banner, localised to the relevant audiences.
Customers themselves will get easier access to additional content and services from the four companies, according to the quartet.
The new group will provide a 24/7 schedule across multiple time-zones for both international racing and sporting programmes, allowing for betting content for both off-peak and primetime slots.
Brendan Parnell, ARC MD of media and international, said: “Customers will be able to enjoy access to a complete service hub which will enable our betting partners to deliver a best-in-breed product to their consumers at any time of the day, every day.
“The strength of our data and wagering technology, coupled with a depth of 24/7 broadcast and video streaming rights, places this newly-created alliance in the vanguard of driving growth and diversified revenues for the horse and greyhound racing sector.”
Paul Carew, Tabcorp COO, added: “Tabcorp prides itself on raising the game through innovation of our market leading products and services and this truly international partnership again highlights that collective commitment.
“We’re excited to combine our premium racing content from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates with the best racing from the United Kingdom and North America to create a service that will deliver a first-class racing experience to a new audience.”
Earlier this month, Tabcorp appointed former Australian Football League (AFL) chief Gillon McLachlan as the company’s new CEO.
He replaced Adam Rytenskild, who resigned in March 2024 after accusations of using “inappropriate and offensive language” in the workplace.
