
Tabcorp secures exclusive MLB wagering partnership
Australian betting giant taps into the country’s growing demand for US sport with new digital streaming agreement


Tabcorp has sealed a new and exclusive international partnership with Major League Baseball (MLB) to bring the US sport to Australian consumers via its app and website.
The partnership will make the operator’s flagship TAB brand the sole official wagering partner of the US sports league in Australia.
Under the multi-year agreement, TAB’s 4,400 retail venues will have access to 24-hour TV channel MLB Network and will air up to 10 live games per week.
The fixtures will be delivered via MLB’s arrangement with international streaming partner Sportradar and will be broadcast through Tabcorp’s racing and sports network live on Sky.
Baseball fans in Australia will also be able to access the broadcasts on the TAB app and website, along with MLB Network coverage.
TAB punters will also have the chance to win exclusive prizes including tickets and player experiences as part of the partnership.
Tabcorp wagering and media MD Adam Rytenskild said: “There is growing demand for US sports content in Australia, particularly among TAB punters.
“Baseball is America’s national pastime and this groundbreaking MLB deal – which complements our NBA and NFL partnerships – helps us to fulfil our ambition of being the home of US sport in Australia,” he added.
Tabcorp also became sports betting partner of the NBA back in October 2019.
