Tabcorp promotes Adam Rytenskild to lead wagering division
Rytenskild to replace Craig Nugent who will retire later this year after nearly 20 years at the Australian gambling giant

Tabcorp has promoted Adam Rytenskild to chief operating officer (COO) for wagering and media, replacing Craig Nugent who is set to retire after nearly 20 years at the Australian operator.
Rytenskild, previously COO for keno and gaming, originally joined Tabcorp in 2000 as Victorian retail wagering manager and has held a number of executive roles at the firm.
The new wagering and media chief will now be responsible for the integration of Tatts’ wagering business into Tabcorp, once the proposed combination between the two firms is completed this year.
“[Rytenskild] is an experienced Tabcorp executive with a strong background in wagering,” Tabcorp managing director and CEO, David Attenborough, said.

Tabcorp CEO David Attenborough says Rytenskild is “well placed” to grow the firm’s wagering business
Attenborough added: “He is well placed to grow the wagering business and execute on our integration with Tatts.
“I would also like to acknowledge Craig Nugent’s contribution to Tabcorp and the racing industry, more broadly, and wish him well as he approaches his retirement.”
Nugent, who originally joined Tabcorp back in 1998, will remain with the company until 30 November 2017 to allow for an “orderly transition”.
EGR Intel understands that the firm’s wagering general manager, Andrew Vouris, is also set to leave the company but this has yet to be corroborated by Tabcorp.
Earlier this month, Tabcorp said the overall group had recorded a $20.8m loss last year, while revenues increased 1.9% year-on-year to $2.2bn.
