TAB inks deal with North Queensland Toyota Cowboys
Multi-year deal sees TAB branding added to NRL side’s jersey ahead of 2023 season

TAB has agreed a deal to become a platinum partner of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys rugby league side.
The multi-year partnership will see TAB’s logo feature prominently of the National Rugby League (NRL) side’s jersey from the 2023 season with the Townsville-based club’s first match coming on 4 March.
It will also enable TAB to interact with fans through activations using Cowboys assets.
Cowboys chief executive Jeff Reibel said: “Since the 1960s TAB has been a household name, having supported sports enthusiasts in every code to experience the thrill of backing their favourite team or athlete competing at the highest level.
“We share this passion for the nation’s sports fandom, having built our own reputation for beating the odds time and again to deliver extraordinary moments in both club and National Rugby League history,” he continued.
Tabcorp has an impressive portfolio of sponsorships, most recently signing five-year wagering partner deals with the Turf Club of Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich and Toowoomba as well as becoming naming rights sponsor of Australia’s richest race day – the Everest Race Day.
Tabcorp senior sponsorship manager Katherine Morgan added: “The Cowboys are part of North Queensland’s DNA and we’re delighted to partner with the club to grow the brand and create innovative activations for Cowboys fans.
“Queenslanders love their sport and we’re incredibly committed to investing in the growth and promotion of the state’s sports teams and race clubs.
“This partnership comes at an exciting time for TAB. We’ve launched a new TAB App, new products and a fresh retail experience for our customers as part of a transformation of our company,” she concluded.
Tabcorp recently finished twentieth in EGR’s Power 50.
