Super Group strengthens US footprint with Digital Gaming Corporation acquisition
Parent company of Betway and provided with market access to 12 states with expansion plans in the near future

Super Group, the parent company of Betway and multi-brand online casino Spin, has completed the acquisition of Digital Gaming Corporation (DGC).
The deal was initially announced in April 2021 and will allow Super Group to expand into the US market further as DGC has access to 12 states, eight of which are operational.
DGC is operational in Iowa, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Arizona, Colorado, Indiana and Virginia under the Betway brand.
DGC launched the Betway brand in Ohio on Sunday through a partnership with Belterra Park as Ohio becomes the latest state to open a regulated online sports betting market. Betway is also the official partner of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
In addition, the company expects to go live in Louisiana in Q1 2023.
The launch in Louisiana will see DGC go live on the in-house Betway global technology platform which is also in use in Arizona, Virginia and Ohio.
Betway and DGC first partnered in February after the pair inked a brand licence agreement which allowed DGC to use the Betway brand across the US.
Super Group will help DGC increase its presence in the UK, with the firm giving DGC exclusive rights to its Betway brand in the country.
Neal Menashe, CEO of Super Group, said: “We are excited to officially welcome DGC into Super Group. We look forward to working more closely with the team as we apply our proven toolkit to the US.
“With a healthy balance sheet and a consistent track record of driving profitable growth, Super Group is well positioned to enter the US market, enhancing our global footprint.”
