STS acquires local marketing rights for UEFA Europa League and Conference League

STS has been awarded marketing rights during UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League matches beginning this evening (21 September).
Through the fact it is now owned by Entain, which has a partnership with the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Europa Conference League, the Polish bookmaker will be able to advertise during matches of Polish clubs and conduct several digital activities, including the use of Europa League and Europa Conference League imagery.
Fans will also be given the opportunity to win tickets via promotional campaigns that STS will conduct throughout the season.
The side that STS currently sponsors, RKS Raków Częstochowa are, Poland’s sole representative in this season’s Europa League and Legia Warszawa are the only Polish team in this year’s Conference League, where they will face Premier League side Aston Villa, in the group stage opener in Warsaw.
Paweł Rabantek, chief marketing officer at STS, commented: “STS has for years been the best-known and most recognisable brand among bookmaker companies in Poland.
“The possibility of synergy in marketing activities after the takeover by Entain brings a number of benefits for us, which will allow, among other things, to strengthen this position.
“I am glad that we have been able to implement all the advertising benefits possible for both the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Europa Conference League from the first matchday,” Rabantek added.
Bwin, another brand owned by Entain, signed a deal with UEFA in 2021, making it an official partner of the Europa League and Europa Conference League on a contract that is set to last until the end of the 2023-24 season.
That deal aimed to allow UEFA to engage with the sports betting industry more openly and to give greater access to market intelligence and support from both a sports integrity and a commercial perspective.
