Strive Gaming lands ex-Bede Gaming head as CTO
PAM supplier taps American Jesse Carey to oversee North American strategy amid executive hiring spree

Strive Gaming has appointed former Bede Gaming exec Jesse Carey as its new chief technology officer (CTO).
Carey joins the player account management (PAM) supplier from Avantage Entertainment, where he spent the first half of 2021 as the group’s interim CTO.
Prior to this, the American had a 11-month spell as VP strategy for High 5 Games and more than seven years with Bede Gaming, where he eventually served as head of application architecture from August 2018 until February 2020.
Carey will be responsible for overseeing Strive Gaming’s ability to serve US and Canadian markets, having previously overseen the delivery of Player Platform to the Ontario Lottery.
Speaking on Cary’s arrival, Strive Gaming president Damian Xuereb said: “Jesse’s wealth of experience with igaming platform architecture, deployment and development coupled with his understanding of the North American market requirements and culture is second-to-none. This makes him the ideal fit to drive forward Strive’s technical ambitions.”
Carey commented: “I evaluated the igaming platform competitive landscape in North America, and I quickly identified that what Strive has in terms of tech stack and expertise is market leading, so I’m delighted to join.
“I’m excited to contribute from a technical strategy perspective to ensure we can deliver upon our customer pledge of performance at scale in such a challenging and dynamic market, which happens to be my home country. I can’t wait to get started,” he added.
