Stoiximan unveils Covid-19 support ad campaign
New television short features Stoiximan-sponsored athletes applauding frontline Greek workers
Greek operator Stoiximan has launched a new television campaign that throws its support behind frontline workers as they face up to the coronavirus pandemic.
In the 90-second short, Greek sporting stars can be seen applauding those at the forefront of the challenge posed by the outbreak.
Olympic champion gymnast Eleftherios Petrounias and former Manchester City and Celtic forward Georgios Samaras feature as sweeping shots of the country’s empty streets and stadia are intercut with workers going about their essential duties.
Greek actor Yiannis Zouganelis narrates the film with his final message of: “We are in this fight together and we will win as one team.”
Stoiximan has also donated €250,000 to the Greek health system and has offered to provide health supplies in other countries where its brand operates, including in Cyprus through Stoiximan, and Portugal and Romania via the Betano brand.
There has also been a television campaign launched by Betano in Romania which encourages people to support local Red Cross fundraising efforts.
