Stats Perform VP of product heads for the exit
Nick Cockerill to leave data firm after almost four years of service as he reflects on working with the “sharpest commercial and marketing team in the business”

Nick Cockerill, Stats Perform’s vice-president of product, has confirmed his departure from the supplier giant after almost four years.
The exec joined the data firm in February 2021 as he was drafted in to play a key role in the group’s sports betting strategy.
Cockerill led on product output and go-to-market plans for the business during his time as vice-president.
He joined Stats Perform from The Stars Group, where he had served as head of product and design for the group’s global sportsbook division since February 2019.
Cockerill had previously spent more than five years with Sky Betting and Gaming, with TSG snapping up the Leeds-based firm in a $4.7bn deal in April 2018.
During his time with Sky Betting and Gaming, he initially worked across core systems before being named head of operational technology in June 2017.
Prior to moving into the gambling sector, Cockerill had spells with sportswear giant Adidas and UK supermarket chain Asda.
Taking to LinkedIn to confirm his departure, Cockerill said: “After a brilliant four years, today was my last day at Stats Perform.
“It’s been an absolute pleasure to work on some groundbreaking new products with the sharpest commercial and marketing team in the business.
“Thank you to Nancy Hensley [former chief marketing and product officer] for a great opportunity and special mention and thanks to Thomas Brugger [senior manager of product management] – I don’t think we’d have got anything done without you.”
Last month, Stats Perform signed an exclusive multi-year international streaming deal with the English Football League to bring select games to sportsbooks outside of the UK.
