Stats Perform extends live streaming rights for Matchroom sports
Darts, pool and snooker competitions included in five-year renewal
Stats Perform has secured a five-year renewal for its live betting streaming rights with Matchroom for darts, snooker and pool events.
Under the remit of the deal, Stats Perform will continue to hold the exclusive right to distribute live video streams of select competitions to licensed sportsbooks.
Matchroom hosts major competitions such as pool’s Mosconi Cup, the World Darts Championship and snooker’s Champion of Champions.
Stats Perform helped Matchroom deliver the PDC Darts Home Tour which took place during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic as darts stars competed from the comfort of their own homes over live streams.
Alex Rice, Stats Perform chief rights officer, said: “We are delighted to be able to continue our long-standing relationship with Matchroom. The multi-sport nature of the deal provides our clients with a broad range of content which appeals to a high number of betting fans.”
