Stake’s Easygo promotes from within for new chief marketing officer
Technology provider promotes from within to bring Akhil Sarin into senior team following addition of CTO earlier this year

Easygo, the technology platform behind Stake and Kick, has named Akhil Sarin as its new chief marketing officer (CMO).
Sarin joined the Australia-based firm in May 2020 as an affiliate manager before quickly making his way up the ranks.
In November 2020, he was appointed head of acquisition and affiliates before being named director of acquisition in August 2022.
The former Australian Football League head will now play a key role in crypto-first operator Stake and streaming challenger Kick’s respective marketing strategies.
Sarin becomes the latest senior appointment at Easygo after the company appointed former Amazon Web Services head Simon Wilkinson as chief technology officer in March.
Easygo was established by Stake co-founder Ed Craven in 2016, with Stake launching one year later.
Touching on his new position, Sarin said: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as chief marketing officer at Easygo.
“I’m proud to be a large driver in helping make Stake and Kick globally recognised brands but I certainly did not do it alone.
“The needle would not have moved without my incredible team and colleagues. Super grateful and thankful to each of them. We are only getting started,” he added.
