
Spotlight Sports Group secures new head of B2B marketing
Racing Post parent company lands ex-Jockey Club marketing maestro Alan Davis


Spotlight Sports Group has appointed former Jockey Club marketing manager Alan Davis as the group’s new head of B2B marketing.
Davis joins Spotlight from Virtus Energy, where he spent the last three months as a marketing consultant.
Prior to this, he served as the Jockey Club’s London regional marketing manager from March 2017 to November 2020.
The former Brighton and Hove Albion marketing manager has also spent time with Coral and Perform Group.
In his role as head of B2B marketing, Davis will be responsible for defining and delivering the group’s B2B marketing strategy, with a focus on driving growth across its product offering.

Davis officially assumed the position on 15 February and will be based in Spotlight’s London office. He will report into CMO Gethin Evans.
