Sportsbet.io grabs title sponsorship for major snooker tournaments
Yolo Group-owned brand set to sponsor the Players Championship, Tour Championship and Champion of Champions competitions this year between March and November

Sportsbet.io has been announced as the title sponsor for three of snooker’s biggest tournaments in 2025 as the crypto-centric operator flexes its marketing muscles once again.
The Yolo Group-owned brand will sponsor the Players Championship, Tour Championship and Champion of Champions tournaments, with each tournament taking the Sportsbet.io moniker in their titles.
The operator agreed the trio of sponsorships with the World Snooker Tour, snooker’s leading promotion body backed by sports programming supplier Matchroom.
The Sportsbet.io Players Championship will take place from 17 to 23 March at Telford International Centre, while the Sportsbet.io Tour Championship will run from 31 March to 6 April at Manchester Central.
The final event, the Sportsbet.io Champion of Champions, is scheduled for 10 to 16 November in Bolton.
All three competitions will be aired on ITV in the UK, in addition to receiving significant online coverage and global exposure to international broadcasters.
Sportsbet.io will replace Johnstone’s Paint as the title partner for the Players Championship and Tour Championship and will take the mantle on from Grosvenor Casinos for the Champion of Champions.
The Players Championship and Tour Championship will both return to a gambling title sponsor after inking a deal in 2023 with crypto operator Duelbits.
The snooker sponsorships will add to Sportsbet.io’s growing portfolio, with the brand already being an official regional partner of Spain’s La Liga.
Sportsbet.io is also an official betting partner of Championship side Hull City, as well as being a club partner of Premier League team Newcastle United.
Shane Anderson, director of partnerships, content and brand at Yolo Entertainment, said: “At Yolo Group, we’re passionate about pushing boundaries and creating unforgettable experiences, which is why partnering with three of snooker’s most prestigious tournaments is such an exciting opportunity for us.
“The Players Championship, Tour Championship and Champion of Champions embody excellence, just as Sportsbet.io strives to innovate and elevate the worlds of sportsbook and blockchain.
“We’re thrilled to bring this partnership to life and connect with snooker fans around the globe.”
Peter Wright, World Snooker Tour chief commercial officer, added: “We are excited to team up with Yolo Group as they are known for their inventive approach to the digital world which is going to be an ever-changing landscape in years to come.
“They have a range of fabulous snooker events to help build the Sportsbet.io brand. The Players Series events are only for the best players on the one-year rankings so it rewards the players in form with places in these prestigious tournaments.
“Fans will pack the arenas in both Telford and Manchester and we look forward to working with the Yolo team over these events.”
