Sports IQ bolsters leadership team with William Hill and Genius Sports veterans
Oddsmaker adds Neale Deeley and Kristjan Tamlak as commercial director and head of trading

Sports IQ has added industry stalwarts Neale Deeley and Kristjan Tamlak to its top team as it looks to grow rapidly in 2023.
Deeley joins the Vancouver-based odds provider and supplier as commercial director while Tamlak has been onboarded as head of trading.
Deeley links up with the firm following more than eight years with Sportradar, culminating in his role as MD of US betting.
He previously spent time with both Inspired Gaming and William Hill earlier in his career in business development roles.
Elsewhere, Tamlak joins having held a short-term position at Pragmatic Play as senior risk manager.
Prior to joining Pragmatic Play, Tamlak spent four years with Genius Sports in his second spell from July 2018 to July 2022, having cut his teeth in the industry at BetGenius as a live trader.
Tamlak said of his appointment: “After a short but very fruitful time at Pragmatic Play, I am incredibly excited to share that I’m joining [Sports IQ CEO] Omer Dor and the team and starting a new position as head of trading.
“I have followed Sports IQ for some time and have been very impressed. I really like the leadership team and the data-first approach driven by incredibly experienced tech and data science teams,” he added.
Sports IQ uses proprietary mathematical models in order to generate live betting markets for bettors and has provided its platform to Bally’s, Betclic, Betway and Tipico.
