Sportradar unveils new Vienna tech hub for more than 400 staff
Supplier giant’s ad:s and audiovisual teams to be based in new city centre location across 4,500 sq m, equipped with indoor padel court and yoga facilities

Sportradar has opened a tech hub in Vienna that will play host to 415 of the supplier giant’s staff.
The New York-listed firm unveiled the new 4,500 sq m office in the Rothschildplatz area, in the centre of the Austrian capital, after moving from a smaller space based in the city’s suburbs.
The relocation came as the Austrian division continues to expand and with a need to push into a “modern and contemporary working environment”, according to the business.
The office, which is in the Austria Park business hub, will be home to the group’s audiovisual product and production teams, which oversee more than 400,000 livestreams every year.
Sportradar ad:s, the company’s AI-powered tailored advertising services, will also be managed from Vienna.
The new office will be overseen by Rainer Geier, the MD for Sportradar Media Services.
Other firms to be based in Austria Park include Puma, Unilever, Dyson and Aldi subsidiary Hoffer.
As part of the move, Sportradar has committed to providing support with public transport and lunch costs for staff.
The office includes an indoor padel court and fitness room, with yoga classes and massages also available for employees.
Speaking to EGR, Geier said: “Vienna is one of the most liveable cities in the world, where Sportradar has a long history and already employs more than 400 people from 45 nations as the world’s leading sports technology provider.
“Our new location in the heart of Vienna is more than just a building – it symbolises our commitment to growth, innovation and technology. The new location offers growth opportunities to further consolidate and expand our position as a leading global provider of sports technology.
“We are proud to have set an important milestone for the further growth of our company and our positioning as an attractive employer.”
Sportradar has a strong physical presence across Europe, with offices in 15 countries including the UK, Spain, Germany, Slovenia and its headquarters in Switzerland.
The group also has three offices in the US, as well as bases in Uruguay, South Africa, Singapore, India and Australia.
Last week, Sportradar CEO Carsten Koerl told investors that companies that fail to engage with AI will be “out of the market in three years”.
His comments came after the group appointed former Google exec Behshad Behzadi as its first chief AI officer.
