Sportradar unveils new São Paulo office ahead of Brazilian market launch
Supplier expands presence in Latam with new hub as business says having boots on the ground will foster deeper relationships with customers

Sportradar has opened a new office in the Brazilian city of São Paulo ahead of the regulated sports betting and online casino market launch on 1 January 2025.
The New York-listed supplier said the new hub would allow it to further strengthen its local presence and develop “deeper relationships” with clients.
Sportradar has been operating in Brazil for almost a decade, working with both operators and local sports federations during that time.
The business was also named as one of the Brazilian government’s four integrity partners, alongside Genius Sports, the International Betting Integrity Association and Sport Integrity Global Alliance.
On 7 November, during an analyst call following the group’s Q3 earnings report, Sportradar CEO Carsten Koerl revealed the business had onboarded 13 clients to its managed trading services product in the market.
Koerl said: “We see a good trajectory in the market for our products. Now it’s up to us that we complement the product line.
“[There’s] lots of opportunities in bet engagement tools, lots of opportunities with advertising. We are ramped up. In a market that is demanding and challenging, you’re going to need to be on your toes, and that’s what we’re doing.”
The launch of the new Brazilian office will also expand Sportradar’s presence in Latam, with the company already operating out of the Uruguayan capital of Montevideo.
Eduard Blonk, Sportradar chief commercial officer, noted the opening of the new office would build upon the supplier’s existing commitment to Brazil.
He said: “We have already established a strong business foundation in Brazil and see immense growth opportunity, driven by its large population and widespread popularity of sports, in particular football, an area in which we excel globally.
“Furthermore, our commitment to preserving the integrity of Brazilian sports underscores Sportradar’s broader mission to foster a responsible and sustainable industry operating within a regulated environment.”
In May, the supplier unveiled a new tech hub in Vienna, Austria, with more than 400 staff based out of the 4,500 sq m space.
