Bobby Longhurst brings several former colleagues to his team as the Malta-based tech firm looks to the next stage of its evolution

Turnkey betting and gaming solutions provider, Sportingtech has appointed former Pronet Gaming CCO Bobby Longhurst as its new MD.
Longhurst has already begun his tenure in the role and joins the Malta-based company following a spell of just under three years with online sportsbook, casino and retail provider Pronet Gaming.
Longhurst brings a number of senior executives with him from Pronet Gaming, including Colin McDonagh as chief sales officer, Daniel Stone as head of marketing and Anthony Murphy as head of commercial account management.
Prior to his role at Pronet, Longhurst spent just over two years as commercial director at SBTech, now Draftkings. Longhurst also spent time at data service provider Sporting Solutions as its business development manager.
On his appointment at Sportingtech, Longhurst said: “I am delighted to be joining Sportingtech at such an exciting time in its development, as I believe we have a great opportunity to make a real impact in the industry.
“We have a very talented team in place, and I’m very pleased that we can add some further management experience to it to build upon the success the company has enjoyed to date.
“The Quantum platform is constantly evolving to meet the needs of the most ambitious operators and we look forward to showcasing it in the coming weeks and months.”
The new senior appointments are part of Sportingtech’s plans to make further inroads into the markets it currently operates in, including Latin America, where it has a number of operators using its Quantum platform.
