Michael Jack joins from Gaming Innovation Group as supplier hands out two internal promotions

Sportingtech has named former Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) exec Michael Jack as its new chief technology officer (CTO).
Jack moves to the supplier from GiG after a near-four-year spell with the Malta-headquartered firm.
He joined GiG in November 2019 as director of architecture from SG Digital before being named director of engineering in May 2021.
In June 2022, Jack was promoted to CTO at GiG before departing the firm last month.
The igaming veteran also counts spells with OpenBet and NYX Gaming on his CV.
A Sportingtech spokesperson said: “We’re thrilled to introduce our new chief technology officer, Michael Jack, who has over 15 years of industry experience.
“Michael’s impressive career speaks to his expertise in driving success for operators and World Lottery Association (WLA) members.
“Michael’s track record of leading large-scale projects and reshaping company cultures will be invaluable. As CTO, he’ll drive our tech advancements, keeping us at the forefront of emerging markets and fuelling our growth in Brazil and Latin America.”
Elsewhere, the supplier also confirmed two internal promotions.
Former head of marketing Dan Stone has been named marketing director after originally joining the company in July 2022, and ex-Sporting Solutions head Jack Smith has been promoted from sales director to senior sales director.
