
Sporting Solutions promotes from within for new head of marketing
Marketing manager Samuel Hill to oversee division as supplier sets sights on North American market


Sporting Solutions has promoted from within to appoint marketing manager Samuel Hill as the firm’s new head of marketing.
Hill will now oversee the marketing division at the sports betting supplier, having originally joined the company in March 2020 as marketing manager.
Prior to joining Sporting Solutions, Hill spent two years as a senior marketing executive at Inspired Gaming Group from February 2018 until March 2020.
In his new role, Hill will be responsible for managing global marketing operations for Sporting Solutions with a particular focus on expansion throughout the North American market.
Hill was appointed as head of marketing on 3 March and will be based at Sporting Solutions’ new headquarters in St. Paul’s, with the supplier set to move to the new space in the coming months.
He will report into group chief operating officer Derren Maggs.
Speaking to EGR, Hill said: “I am delighted to be leading the marketing division at Sporting Solutions. It’s a very exciting time within the company and I’m expecting 2022 to be a transformative year for the business.
“We have ambitious plans for growth on a global scale, particularly in North America, with many exciting projects and partnerships on the horizon,” he added.
Maggs commented: “We’re pleased to have appointed Samuel to the head of marketing role. He has a wealth of expertise in the sports betting industry and will play a key role in shaping our strategic marketing objectives over the coming years.”
