Spain’s Wanabet.es migrates to SBTech’s platform
Franco-owned sportsbook signs long-term deal with sports betting supplier

Spanish operator Wanabet.es has switched suppliers and agreed a long-term deal with omni-channel sportsbook provider SBTech.
As part of the agreement, Wanabet.es, which belongs to Spanish-based operator R. Franco Digital, will have greater control of risk management, with the aim of maximising the brand’s potential revenue.
Wanabet.es joins the likes of sports betting operators Luckia and Bethard, both of which have already partnered with SBTech in the Spanish market in similar deals.
Andrew Cochrane, chief development officer at SBTech, said: “The migration of yet another visionary brand to SBTech is testament to not only our innovative product offering, but also the strength of our commercial and product teams throughout a rigorous sales process.
“We look forward to working closely with R. Franco to take them to the next level of performance through our industry-leading, market-ready sportsbook,” Cochrane said.
Javier Sacristán Franco, digital and operations director of R. Franco welcomed the agreement, adding: “Spain is a rapidly evolving and growing market and to build on our success we knew we had to take our offering to the next level.
“We firmly believe that SBTech’s best-in-class sportsbook will enable us to achieve this and futureproof the business for many years to come,” he added.
Wanabet.es was previously partnered with sportsbook vendor Kambi.
Last month, Argyll Entertainment signed a five-year extension with SBTech to provide technology for the group’s sportsbook platform.
