Sky Betting & Gaming head of commercial planning steps down
Senior heads at Flutter Entertainment-owned brands continue to depart as Mike White ends eight-year association with SBG

Sky Betting & Gaming (SBG) head of commercial planning Mike White has departed the Leeds-based operator after more than eight years with the firm.
White leaves SBG after having served as head of commercial since January 2021 in what was his sixth role with the firm.
He originally joined SBG from Betfair as a football trader in February 2014 before being named football product manager in November 2015.
White then took on his first senior managerial role in November 2017 as head of pre-match football and subsequently head of football in November 2018.
In his penultimate role with the bookmaker, White was named head of trading in July 2019.
Prior to joining SBG, White spent more than five years on the brokerage and trading floor at Betfair.
Reflecting on his time with SBG, White said: “My time at Sky Betting & Gaming has come to an end after a thoroughly enjoyable eight years.
“From joining the business as a bang average football trader, it’s been quite the journey, and hard for me to believe how much has happened in that time, but I have decided to seek a new challenge.
“I have loved being part of the incredible SBG growth story. I’m truly grateful for the opportunities afforded to me during my time here, especially the privilege to lead our exceptional trading and commercial planning teams. It’s been a blast –best of luck to everyone still crushing it,” he added.
White becomes the latest senior figure to depart Flutter Entertainment in recent weeks.
Last month, Paddy Power Betfair head of racing Will De Nardo left the firm while SBG director of technology Paul Lilley announced he was stepping down from his position.
