Sky Betting & Gaming CEO makes Glassdoor’s UK top bosses list
Steve Birch the only igaming chief exec to land a place on Glassdoor’s Top 50 CEO rankings for 2021
Sky Betting & Gaming (SBG) CEO Steve Birch has been named as one of the top 50 CEOs in the UK for 2021.
Birch placed 21st in Glassdoor’s annual rankings, making him the only igaming executive to crack the top 50, boasting an employee approval rating of 97%.
The approval rating is based on anonymous and voluntary reviews from SBG employees shared on Glassdoor throughout the past year.
Birch became the CEO of the Flutter-owned brand in September 2020 having spent 13 years with SBG in various roles.
Before being promoted to CEO, he spent two years as MD, as well as stints as commercial director and head of data strategy for the Leeds-based bookmaker.
Birch placed ahead of CEOs from major organisations including J.P. Morgan, PwC, Siemens and Nando’s.
Larry Fink, the billionaire CEO of US multinational investment management corporation BlackRock, cemented the number one spot with an approval rating of 99%.
