Sky Bet unveils Three Simple Tools safer gambling campaign
Sky Sports’ Gillette Soccer Saturday stars promote the operator’s responsible gambling portfolio in new ad

Sky Bet has unveiled a new TV advert entirely dedicated to promoting its safer gambling tools and practices.
The new ad, fronted by the stars of Sky Sports’ Gillette Soccer Saturday, is called ‘Three Simple Tools’ and is designed to highlight the operator’s responsible gambling tools.
Sky Bet said it hopes to raise awareness of responsible gambling practices through the new 30-second short, while normalising the use of its RG tools – deposit limits, cool-off periods and profit and loss.

Profit and Loss is a new feature that “aims to put customers in control of their betting behaviour by presenting them with an overall picture of their gambling habits at the click of a button”.
Sky Betting & Gaming (SBG) CEO Richard Flint said: “Our first safer gambling campaign broke new ground because we were the first betting brand to produce a dedicated safer gambling advert, and we put a big-budget campaign behind the cause of safer gambling awareness.
“We hope to build on these impressive results with the launch of ‘Three Simple Tools’, including the new ‘Profit and Loss’ tool, to give customers a simple to understand indication of their betting balance over a selected period of time, to keep them informed and help them manage affordability.
“Research indicates customers increasingly want to bet with trusted companies that provide a safe environment.
“Advertising forms a part of an increasingly multi-channel dialogue with the public in order to keep making betting and gaming safer and that’s what we are doing here,” he added.
The ad is a follow-up to the previous award-winning ‘When the Fun Stops, Stop’ campaign featuring Jeff Stelling, with SBG committing £3.5m on TV spending to safer gambling advertising in 2018.
In ‘Three Simple Tools’, Stelling is joined on screen by Gillette Soccer Saturday regulars Phil Thompson, Matt Le Tissier and Charlie Nicholas, with each ex-pro representing a tool.
All three tools are available on the latest update of the Sky Bet app and on skybet.com.
