
Sky Bet kicks off 'Betting Better' ad campaign

Leeds-based firmâs new marketing push to promote Sky Betâs latest offers and features across TV, online, print and social media
Sky Betting and Gaming will launch its new âBetting Betterâ multi-channel ad campaign this week as part of a major marketing push ahead of the new football season.
The Leeds-headquartered operatorâs new campaign was created in partnership with advertising agency mcgarrybowen and will promote features including In Play and Price Boost across TV, online, print and social media.
Using a âLess/Moreâ concept, the campaign aims to show potential customers the value of betting with Sky Bet and will use the latest ad serving technology to provide viewers with the latest offer and prices available with the operator.
âThis campaign is intended to show customers that we are the premium, sports betting brand,â Rob Painter, Sky Bet marketing director, said.
âAll the insight and passion for sport matched with the excellent customer experience you would expect from Sky. The ads are bold and entertaining, we hope they will grab the attention of the audience,â he added.
The flagship TV advert will be launched in time for the start of the new football season on Saturday and will feature US rapper Kanye Westâs song Black Skinhead.
“This is the start of a campaign that¹s full of sporting insight and raw passion and we hope punters will love it,â Angus Macadam, executive creative director at mcgarrybowen, said.
Sky Betting and Gamingâs new campaign comes after figures released recently by former parent company Sky showed the operator recorded an operating profit of £30m for the eight-and-a-half month period prior to its acquisition by CVC Capital Partners in March.
