Sisal opens new tech hub in Naples
Flutter Entertainment-owned firm adds to tech offices across Africa and Europe as group welcomes more than 30 initial staff

Sisal has opened a new technology hub in Naples as it looks to cement its position as one of the leading operators in Italy.
The new tech hub will join offices in Rome and Milan as well as existing tech hubs in Palermo and Turin as part of Sisal’s footprint in the Italian market.
The Flutter Entertainment-owned operator also boasts tech offices in Turkey, Albania and Tunisia.
The new Naples hub, located in the Centro Direzionale business park, boasts more than 30 new hires across IT including software engineers and quality assurance staff, with a recruitment plan in place to add to this figure in the coming months.
The operator has also entered a partnership with the Federico II University to launch internships for students at the new hub.
The addition of a Naples office to Sisal’s existing network comes as the company has hired more than 450 staff across its tech teams since 2019.
Mario Martinelli, Sisal CTO, said: “Sisal has always been an innovation-oriented company.
“The new IT Hub in Naples represents an innovation hub that will be able to devote itself to focusing on ideas, talent development, experimentation and research and helping the whole company to look beyond.
“Over the last few years, we have made great strides in terms of investments in people and skills, hiring 450 people in the technology hubs both in Italy and abroad.
“We will continue to invest more and more in hubs spread in other areas of Italy, also in collaboration with local universities,” he added.
