Sisal named operator of the year at EGR Italy Awards 2024
Flutter Entertainment-owned giant takes the top title in Rome in addition to three other gongs in spectacular ceremony held in the Italian capital
Sisal cleaned up at the EGR Italy Awards 2024 last night, 16 October, as the operator walked away with four titles, including the coveted operator of the year award.
The Flutter Entertainment-owned brand was also named sports betting operator of the year, safer gambling operator of the year and took the gong for best diversity and inclusion model in Italy.
Hosted at the Rome Cavalieri after a full day of content at the EGR Italy Briefing, Sisal edged out other major operators in the Italian market to come out on top.
Elsewhere 888casino, Betsson Group and Hub Affiliations all nabbed two trophies each in the Italian capital.
The evoke-owned 888 brand was crowned mobile operator of the year and casino operator of the year.
Meanwhile, Betsson Group was selected as customer services operator of the year and received the accolade for best marketing campaign.
Hub Affiliations was recognised as affiliate of the year and sports betting affiliate of the year.
There were also wins on the night for Genius Sports, Optimove, Capecod Gaming and Zillion Games, among others.
The EGR Italy Awards 2024 were hosted by sports journalist and presenter Anna Maria Baccaro.
