SeventySix Capital expands portfolio with trio of start-ups
Sports VC firm adds Quintar, Lucra Sports, and NFT PRO to growing investment fund

SeventySix Capital has added three start-ups in the sports tech and betting spaces to its growing investment fund, with the venture capital firm announcing stakes in Quintar, Lucra Sports, and NFT PRO.
Quintar’s focus is augmented reality (AR), Lucra Sports is a social gaming platform, and the eponymous NFT PRO specialises in non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
They become the newest additions to a SeventySix Capital portfolio that currently includes the likes of Shot Tracker, Swish Analytics and US Integrity.
“We are excited to unveil the first three innovative sports-focused investments in our new fund,” said SeventySix Capital managing partner Wayne Kimmel.
“The management teams of these companies exemplify the types of entrepreneurs who are transforming the sports industry.”
Quintar, an AR-based fan-technology company, enables relevant stakeholders such as creators and rights holders to build live action AR experiences. Its goal is to create a more immersive and engaging live sports experience for fans.
“The time is now to enhance sports viewership via AR,” said Quintar CEO Dr S. “Jay” Jayaram. “Having SeventySix Capital as an investor enables us to scale our business in unprecedented ways.”
Lucra Sports is a peer-to-peer sports gaming platform aiming to personalise the betting experience by allowing fans to challenge friends to real-money wagers through its platform.
Users have the ability to customise the contests they create and wager as little as $1.
“Lucra is for anyone who has ever filled out a bracket, bought a Super Bowl square or teased a friend about their favourite player or team,” said CEO Dylan Robbins.
“Everything is more fun with friends, and above all, Lucra provides a fun way to engage with friends around sports.”
NFT PRO, meanwhile, is striving to leverage the wild popularity of digital assets at a B2B level. The platform serves as a full white-label solution for NFTs, creating, minting, marketing, and selling them on behalf of brands.
“NFT PRO provides the ultimate enterprise-grade, end-to-end, white-label NFT solution,” said CEO Christian Ferri, who counts Juventus, Atari and Lamborghini among his firm’s clients.
“We ensure that top brands maintain their identity and give them total control of their NFT and the experience.”
SeventySix Capital has established itself among the most forward-thinking venture capital firms in the betting space, having previously invested in sports betting network VSiN, sportsbook start-up Vigtory and media company Team Whistle, all of which were ultimately acquired.
