While the East Coast has largely taken the lead with regards to US sports betting legislation, a number of states across the Midwest are now following in the likes of New Jersey’s footsteps.

States such as Iowa and Indiana are expected to go live in the coming months having passed legislation to legalize sports betting. And others in the Midwest region are well on the way.

Which is why EGR Global has launched its latest US-focused event, the EGR North America Midwest Briefing, to bring together gambling executives and regulators from across the US to discuss this important region.

Due to take place on 10 July in Chicago, the Midwest Briefing will see speakers from the likes of Rush Street Interactive, FanDuel, Catena Media and the Indiana Gaming Commission discuss the next steps towards legalized sports betting.

The event is the latest iteration of EGR’s US-focused Briefings following the launch of its inaugural East Coast Briefing last year, the second edition of which was recently held in Atlantic City.
